I have previously led a busy life, from living in 3 continents and working in diverse fields, such as aerospace and teaching children. A few years ago my work and travels were cut short by debilitating health issues, including chronic back pain and body stiffness. Doctors from around the world gave me increasingly drastic medications and treatments, all of which had no impact. Due to this I was determined into looking for alternatives to westernized medicine.
Eventually, while living in Malaysia I attended Get Well Class under the guidance of teacher Ooi Kean Hin -who introduced me to the power of meditation, visualization and Qigong practice. From that point on I embarked on my self-healing journey. I experienced how unhealed trauma can affect one’s health and well-being, and have been practicing every day, attending online workshops and continuing education with Qigong Zhineng Theory & Practice since then.
I realized that sharing my passion, knowledge and working with mind and body to help others brings me most joy in my life.
I continue to learn new modalities and skills to combine them in my work with the patient. I am certified BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release practitioner, additionally I am currently training in Somatic Experiencing and Trauma Healing method (body- oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders, by Dr. Peter A. Levine)
My sensitivity, empathy and intuitiveness supports clients needs – creating effective and safe space for healing.
After spending few years in Galway, Ireland I moved to the US. I live in beautiful Colorado (Arvada), enjoy its beauty and appreciate the three hundred days of sunshine, together with my favorite animal – Django.
